I cannot record audio into Cubase VST.
1. Make sure that the needed audio cable connections have been made
From the sound source to the sound card’s audio inputs.
2. Verify a signal can be read in the sound card’s mixer/control utility
3. Check the Cubase VST Channel mixer is getting the signal
4. Make sure an audio track is selected and not a midi track.
