Do I have to have a BRC to sync multiple ADATs/XTs?
No. ADATs and XTs are self-syncing. Simply connect the 9 pin SYNC OUT jack of the master to the SYNC IN of the slave, and the SYNC OUT of the first slave to the IN of the next one, and so on (up to 16 ADATs). The slaves will then automatically follow the master, even without a BRC.
