Blue Cat Audio Software Activation Instructions
Getting started
In this guide, we will show you how to register, download, and install your new Blue Cat Audio plug-in. Follow the sections below to get started.
Register the product
The first step in the authorization process is to register your new product with Blue Cat Audio. When you register the plug-in, be sure to use a valid e-mail address as the serial number can only be used once. Follow these steps to register the software.
- Go to the Blue Cat Audio registration page.
- Fill out the information including the Serial Number and a valid e-mail address into their corresponding fields.

Download & install the plug-in
Next, you will need to download and install the newly registered plug-in. You will also receive a separate activation key provided by Blue Cat that you’ll need to complete registration. The installer files and activation key are sent via e-mail. If you didn’t receive the download links, be sure to check your spam/junk folder. Follow these steps to download & install the software.
Make sure it’s the full version!
You cannot activate a demo version of the plug-in so be sure to uninstall any demo version of the software and then run the full version’s installer.
- Open the e-mail sent to you by Blue Cat Audio, and click the download link provided.
- Go to your Downloads folder, and double-click the .exe installer file (PC) or the .dmg installer file (Mac), then follow the on-screen instructions.
Activate the plug-in
The last step in the process is to activate your plug-in. You’ll need to launch our DAW, load the plug-in onto a track, then use the serial number to unlock the product. Follow these steps to complete the activation process.
- Load the plug-in within your DAW to open the activation window.
- Enter the e-mail address you used to register the product, as well as the activation key you received from Blue Cat Audio.

The estimated required monthly payment shown which excludes taxes and delivery equals the amount financed divided by the number of months in the promo period, rounded up to the next cent. During the last month(s) of the promo period the required monthly payment may be reduced due to this rounding. These payments apply only with the financing offer shown. If you make these payments by the due date each month, you should pay off this amount financed within the promo period, if it is the only balance you are paying off. If you have other balances on your account, this payment will be added to any other minimum monthly payments.
