Applied Acoustics Systems Software Activation Instructions
Getting Started
This guide will show you how to activate and access your Applied Acoustics Systems software. To continue, follow each of the sections below.
Applied Acoustics Systems Account
Applied Acoustics Systems software requires an Applied Acoustics Systems account. If you already have an Applied Acoustics Systems account and want to register your new software to that account, please verify the username and login before proceeding. Most users will only have one account, but in some cases, you may create another account to distinguish different locations, people, etc.
IMPORTANT! Do not create multiple Applied Acoustics Systems accounts if you only need one. Instead, try accessing the account using your current login. If necessary, try resetting your password or recovering your account login.
Either sign in to an existing Applied Acoustics Systems account or create a new one, then proceed to Serial Number.
Sign in with existing Applied Acoustics Systems account
- Go to the Applied Acoustics Systems Login page.
- Enter your existing login and click Log in.
- Verify your current products are registered to the current account.
Create a new Applied Acoustics Systems account
- Go to the Applied Acoustic Systems Register page.
- Complete the form and click Register.
- Sign in using your new login to verify your account.
Package Key
Sweetwater has emailed you the Package Key to activate your software. Open the email, find the Package Key, and follow the steps below to register it to your account.
IMPORTANT! The Package Key is the 8 character code found in the Software Activation Instructions email sent from Sweetwater. If your Package Key appears as a link, either click the link or manually enter the last 8 characters included in the link.
Register the Package Key and then proceed to download & install your software.
Register Package Key
- Sign in using your Applied Acoustics Systems login.
- Go to the AAS Package page.
- Enter your Package Key and click Register.
Download and Install
Applied Acoustics Software plug-ins are downloaded from the Support page.
Download and install software
- Go to the Applied Acoustics Software Support page.
- Click your product’s download button compatible with your computer.
- Open your Downloads folder and run the installer:
- PC: Right-click the .zip file, select Extract all…, then click Extract. In the new folder, double-click the .exe file and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Mac: Double-click the .zip file to unpack it. Double-click the .pkg file and follow the on-screen instructions.
Authorization
Software Activation is completed after entering the Response Code into your software. Follow the steps below to get the Response Code.
IMPORTANT! Authorization may not be required if you downloaded the installers from the Registered Products area of your user account. Otherwise follow the steps below to complete authorization of your new software.
Enter Challenge and Response Codes
- Launch your DAW and load the plug-in onto a track.
- Go to the Applied Acoustics Systems Unlock page.
- Enter your Serial Number and Challenge Code which appears in the plug-in window, and then click Get the response code.
- Copy and paste the Response Code into the response code field, then click Authorize.

If you do not, interest will be charged on the promo balance from the purchase date. The required minimum monthly payments may or may not pay off the promo balance before the end of the promo period, depending on purchase amount, promo length and payment allocation. Regular account terms apply to non-promo purchases and, after promo period ends, to the promo balance. New Accounts as of 07/31/2025: Purchase APR is 34.99%. Penalty APR is 39.99%. The estimated required monthly payment shown which excludes taxes and delivery equals the amount financed divided by the number of months in the promo period, rounded up to the next cent. During the last month(s) of the promo period the required monthly payment may be reduced due to this rounding. These payments apply only with the financing offer shown. If you make these payments by the due date each month, you should pay off this amount financed within the promo period, if it is the only balance you are paying off. If you have other balances on your account, this payment will be added to any other minimum monthly payments.
