Engineered in the USA Using US-made Wire
True North cables are designed in-house, spec’d with top-quality components, and made with pride by seasoned craftspeople who uphold strict quality standards and a commitment to doing things right.

Silver Solder
Most True North cables are assembled using silver solder. This offers superior conductivity to standard tin-lead solder, reducing resistance at the solder joints for enhanced audio clarity. An added benefit is stronger, more durable connections to withstand vibration, repeated plugging/unplugging, and cable flexing.
Premium Jackets and Insulation
True North’s upgraded polyethylene insulation offers excellent dielectric properties for reduced signal loss, lower noise floor, and accurate transient response. Top-shelf PVC alloy jackets, meanwhile, are more durable than normal PVC jackets. They can also withstand colder and hotter temperatures, providing a higher level of protection for the internal components.

Machine-terminated Pins
Select True North cables are constructed with machine-terminated pins. This technique employs precise mechanical force to create consistent, uniform, and reliable electrical connections that preserve signal integrity and optimize durability.
99.9% Pure ETP Bare Copper Wire
Compared to the copper-clad aluminum often used in audio cables, bare copper offers 40% greater conductivity. This translates to a noticeably stronger, purer, and better-sounding signal.

High-strand-count Construction
High strand counts in audio cables improve flexibility, making cables easier to work with in tight spaces, behind crowded racks, and on cluttered pedalboards. High strand counts also distribute stress more evenly, reducing metal fatigue and lowering the chance of conductor breakage over time. This is particularly important near connectors where instrument and microphone cables are constantly flexed.
Neutrik and G&H Connectors
True North XLR cables come with Neutrik connectors. Widely considered the industry standard for professional audio applications, they’re trusted for robust construction, secure fit, and solid audio connections. Select speaker and guitar cables, meanwhile, feature G&H connectors. Renowned among the most discerning players for superior sound, they help ensure your meticulously curated tone remains intact.

Lifetime Warranty
Whether you’re running sound on a headline tour, tracking your latest release, playing a Friday night gig, or leading a Sunday service, True North cables are built to withstand countless bends and plug/unplug cycles (not to mention rough treatment from musicians). For additional peace of mind, they’re backed by a lifetime warranty.
Eco-friendly Packaging
True North cares about our world, so they use zero packaging when possible and minimalist, frustration-free, 99% curb-recyclable materials when packaging is needed.
