Transform a MADI Port Into an Audio Interface
Developed in collaboration with RME, the DirectOut USB.MADI is a compact module designed for direct installation into your Prodigy, Maven, or Ace’s MADI SFP slot, transforming it into a 64-in, 64-out USB-C audio interface. Powered by RME drivers, the module offers low-latency performance, bolstered by a high-speed USB-C connection, at sample rates up to 192kHz. Moreover, the USB.MADI’s class-compliant firmware enables instant compatibility with iPads and mobile devices. Additionally, you’ll benefit from Enhanced Automatic Redundancy Switching (EARS) technology with select hardware configurations, as well as advanced drive rack integration. Beyond that, with two or more SFP slots, you can connect two computers to the same device for parallel recording or processing. Ultimately, the USB.MADI allows you to combine DirectOut’s superior AD/DA conversion with 64 channels of high-resolution recording. At Sweetwater, we’d call that a match made in heaven.
