Add High-end Shimmer without Sounding Harsh
Sheen Machine makes it easier than ever to add some high-end “air” to your tracks without introducing the harshness that can typically accompany a simple high-frequency EQ boost. Utilizing Eventide’s Structural Split technology — the same groundbreaking technology found in their SplitEQ and Physion products — Sheen Machine works by analyzing an incoming signal and then separating it into its Transient and Tonal properties. This plug-in lets you effortlessly add that radio-ready shimmer to vocals without inadvertently boosting sibilance (as just one example). Best of all, Sheen Machine’s interface is among the simplest that Sweetwater studio engineers have ever seen: a single knob with undo/redo, input gain, and bypass … that’s it!
Note: An iLok account is required, but no physical dongle is necessary. Please consult your Sweetwater Sales Engineer if you have questions or concerns.

Spin it through the Sheen Machine
Sheen Machine uses Eventide’s Structural Split technology to separate a signal into its Transient (noise, pops, mic plosives, vocal sibilance, attack) and Tonal (sustained notes, harmonics, tone, ambience) characteristics. Once separated, you can tweak Tonal elements without affecting Transient elements and vice versa. Vocals are an obvious use case for Sheen Machine, but trust us: you’ll be using it for much more than that! Any dull snare drum, honky horn, or lifeless synth will benefit by spinning it through the Sheen Machine from Eventide.
