Ive had it for 12 years and youd think I bought it a month ago. Good build.

Very nice mount, sturdy, well constructed and quite sure to last. I did a lot of research and this shockmount seems a great substitute for a regular MXL brand mount but at only half the cost. The screw mount base fits my MXL medium diaphragm condenser microphone perfectly. While there seems to be a lot of discussion regarding microphone fit in various shock mounts, all I can say is that whatever the standard screw mount size (this measures out at 20mm external diameter) this mount fits the base of my mic the way it should. There's plenty of room for the mic housing to fit inside the mount, and you don't have to worry about getting the proper expandable clip size like with so many other shockmount designs. While the SP01 is designed for use with Samson microphones, I suspect this mount will work well with many other brands of studio condenser mics, too.

This mic shockmount gives flavor to my home studio setup as it gives the feeling of a professional studio to the singer. I like it!

For the price and build quality, this is a great shock mount. Purchased for my new Blue Spark (as the included shtick mount is horrible) and it fits factory perfect - highly recommended!!!

I've used one of these for the past couple of years in my studio and loved it so much, I just purchased another one. I use this mount with the Behringer C-1 & C-3 large diaprhagm mics and they are a perfect fit. This mount does a great job of dampening mechanical noise associated with a mic on a stand.
