Creative marimba designs
Marimbas are substantial instruments. But with Malletech’s frame designs, it only takes a single person to assemble a 5.0-octave marimba. The Stiletto itself features a 6-section drop-in resonator system that can be assembled easily in any order. The frame itself offers plenty of tweakability to the instrument given aspects like adjustable nodal brace, “Z” brace, adjustable hinge angle, and quick-release locking braces. However, this 5.0-octave marimba won’t overwhelm, thanks to its “normal” 22-inch C1 to C2 reach. Marimbists can easily adjust the height on the Stiletto with the spring-balanced height adjustment. Lastly, Malletech's rubber uni-bracket design creates a near-silent frame, so you’ll notice the pure tones of the Honduran rosewood shining through on the Stiletto.
