I purchased both the LP Matador Conga and Quinto with the nice, Red Mango finish. All I can say is "wow!" Both look and sound so beautiful with deep, pure, resonant tone. I've already played them with their stock rawhide heads in a couple of live gigs so far and, man, they sounded great. Other musicians on the bandstand even commented on how good they sounded, too.

Bottom-line: these are reasonably priced, high quality instruments that are perfectly suitable for working pros. I might change out the heads to synthetic at some point, but, right now I don't feel that I need to. They tune up easily and sound great just as they are.
