This 2-legged Hat Stand Doesn't Budge!

Most 2-legged stands have a little wobble to them. It's sort of the nature of the beast. But not the Ludwig Atlas Pro Hi-hat Stand. This rock-solid beauty is perfectly balanced thanks to a Centroid 3-point stability system, which elevates the back of the pedal to create three solid points of contact, saving valuable space for pedals & stands without sacrificing playability. Not only is the Atlas Pro full of groundbreaking design features, but its rugged steel tubing is about the toughest you'll find at any price point.

Fine-tune spring tension

With six adjustable tension settings, you can customize the Atlas Pro to whatever feels most natural to you: fluid, choppy, and all shades inbetween. Ludwig's Progressive Action Linkage forces hats shut as you speed through the stroke, for crisp closed strikes and defined cymbal pumps.

Keep your stand from sliding

Have you ever thought about the force you inflict on your hi-hat pedal with every stomp? Ludwig has. That's why your Atlas Pro comes equipped with Spurlock heel plate anchors, which dig into carpet to prevent sliding.

Angle cymbals to your liking

Ludwig's Aerodisc bottom cymbal tilter angles cymbals however you like, then locks them in place for problem-free performance. This is a great way to control the sloshiness of your open strikes.

Maintain three points of contact at all times

You may have heard it said that the tripod is the most stable structure in nature. The Atlas Pro proves this with its Centroid 3-point stability system, which effectively turns the two legs and footplate into a tripod structure for exceptional stability. If rocksteady performance is what you're after in a two-legger, Sweetwater drummers highly recommend the Ludwig Atlas Pro Hi-hat stand.

Reviews

Hi hat stand
It's a great stand it's heavy duty there's a lot of adjustments to it and it takes a little bit to figure out some of the adjustments but overall it's a great stand once you get it set up.

The most solid hihat stand ever
I've compared this stand to the DW 9000 and Tama stands and it beats them all. Setup is a little complicated but this is rock solid. Tips: Work with the cymbal tilter; it rotates to change the angle and works well when you get used to it. And I've never figured out how to attached the toe stop, which I've never had on a hihat anyway.
THIS STAND IS MORE RIGID THAN ANY OTHER, INCLUDING 3 LEGS STANDS! The footboard acts as a third leg.

Love the heavy duty design. Very sturdy. Smooth control. Best HH to go with double bass pedal.
5 stars.
Solid as a rock
I've been using this high hat in my practice space now for nearly a year. The only complaint I have about it is there's a little toe clip that I haven't figured out how to OK so it will stay but it's really totally unnecessary for my playing style. It has an unusual tilt her on it but I got used to it pretty quickly. I played on a DW9000 two leg high hat stand and it is functionally the same as far as stability if not better. I have found no other two leg high hat stand that even rivals it as far as stability it has a unique folding message and you do have to make sure you don't misplace the pen had halted in place which is remove girls like drum key, but I would highly highly recommend this especially for the price create
Set aside the toe stop and have a perfect Hi-hat
This is the most stable two-leg Hi-Hat pedal I've ever used, as good as any three leg ones I own. It's also a totally different design than any other ones I have. Once you get the adjustment process down and familiarized it's fully customizable. The tilter threw me for a bit but it works as well as the standard ones.
Music background: AV professional and Casual Pro on drums.
