Rich Oscillators, Dual Sequencers, and CV Connectivity
The Analogue Solutions Impulse Command semi-modular synthesizer offers a ton of creative potential for creating melodic and percussion loops. At its core, you have two voltage-controlled oscillators, a voltage-controlled filter, two envelope generators, two LFOs, and digital reverb and delay effects. The real magic happens within Impulse Command’s Sequercizer, a 16-step analog sequencer that encourages real-time experimentation. And with an array of CV inputs and outputs to create custom patches or to interface with your other modular synth gear, there’s a lot to love about the Analogue Solutions Impulse Command synthesizer.

MIDI note sequencer and analog Sequercizer
You’ll find two sequencers on the Impulse Command synthesizer — a 16-note MIDI note sequencer, and a 16-step analog sequencer. The MIDI note sequencer allows you to record in bass lines and melodies from a MIDI source, and the analog sequencer lets you add complexity and evocative modulations when you route it to the VCF or to its own CV output. Synthesists at Sweetwater love the ability to combine the best creative aspects of MIDI sequencing and analog sequencing.
ReOrder! creates new melodies from your sequence
After you have a melodic sequence looping on the Impulse Command synthesizer, use the ReOrder! function to generate completely new melodies from your existing sequence. This isn’t the same as a randomize function — it’s much more musical, perfect for creating evolving melodic lines on the fly.
