Like Having Two Tremolo Pedals in One

Normally the pickiest tremoloholics at Sweetwater won't settle for anything less than the built-in tremolo on a classic Fender or Vox amp, but the JHS Honey Comb Deluxe tremolo pedal made us sit up and take note. Especially because the Honey Comb Deluxe offers not just one, but two independent tremolo circuits with independent speeds. You can dial in a fast shimmer and a slow, throbbing tremolo, and switch between them in a flash. If your guitar tone relies on tremolo, you'll be well served with the JHS Honey Comb Deluxe tremolo on your pedalboard.

JHS Honey Comb Deluxe Tremolo Pedal at a Glance:
  • Wide speed range is sure to please a variety of players
  • Switch between two speeds instantly
  • JHS pedals are handcrafted tone machines
Wide speed range is sure to please a variety of players

We know that every guitarist has their own personal taste for tremolo. The Honey Comb Deluxe has an internal switch that lets you select between the "normal" speed range and a slower speed range. If you like your tremolo long, slow, and drawn out, just flip the internal switch down and you're ready to rock.

Switch between two speeds instantly

You'll find two footswitches on the Honey Comb Deluxe, one for bypass and one to switch between two different tremolo speeds. It's easy to set up both a fast shimmer and a slow throb, and switch between them with one button.

JHS pedals are handcrafted tone machines

When you plug your guitar into a JHS pedal like the Colour Box, you're tapping into care and passion that few manufacturers put into their products. Each JHS pedal is handbuilt and tested by the JHS team in Kansas City, Missouri. Because they design their pedals for specific musical purposes, we're sure there's a JHS pedal that's perfect for any player's rig.

JHS Honey Comb Deluxe Tremolo Pedal Features:
  • Tremolo pedal for electric guitar, with two independent variable speed controls
  • Allows you to set up two different tremolo speeds and switch between them with a footswitch
  • Internal switch allows you to select from "normal" or "slow" speed ranges
  • True bypass switching keeps your tone intact while the effect is off
  • LED color corresponds to the speed knob color, so you can easily see which speed is selected
The JHS Honey Comb Deluxe may be the only tremolo pedal you need!

Sweet as honey

This tremolo pedal sounds just as good as the built in tremolo on a Marshall 1974x. Even better is there are two independent circuits so you can have two completely different speeds present; which makes this one over the most versatile tremolos I have ever worked with. I have been using a Red With Pentivocal tremolo until I found this unit. I sold my red Witch and haven't looked back since. Oh and did I mention, made in the USA!

One of the only pedals i will ever love!

This is one of the most amazing pedals i have ever heard or used!! the fact you can have 2 separate speeds and click between them is amazing... the depth control is very clean and smooth when you need too adjust it.. the volume control is also a cool little addition and works very well with out adding that screeching high frequency like other pedals... a cool little thing too do if needed is too turn down all of the speeds and depth and you can use the volume as a quiet descent clean boost.. cranked with the right amp u can get more snap and grit... just a fun little tip.. i cant stand most pedals but this pedal works very well and sounds incredible... not too mention it looks killer... and the flashing speed bulb is a sick addiction too looks! i will always keep and use this pedal! i use this pedal on my 1985 Marshall Jcm800 1959 100w super lead.. which was modded with the dookie mod...

Excellent product!

I am extremely happy with this pedal. I had some issues with hiss initially: the Honey Comb did not like my 1 Spot (neither direct nor daisy-chained) and initially I though it may be the pedal... I upgraded to an MXR dc brick, which I was over-due for in any case. Happily the result is superb... The best tremolo I have experienced either in or our of an amp. Great sounding, solid, fun-looking, practical. I snagged a 1/2 star since I don't believe you should need to break the bank on power supply to enjoy a good pedal. Nonetheless, I would not buy any other Tremolo.

Overpriced and Noisy

Pros: Two speed options are a plus You can turn the depth down and use this as a clean boost. Internal switch available to offer an additional level of speed control.Cons: There is no internal 9v battery option, which would have been nice to try and isolate the power from my power brick (Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2 Plus) to troubleshoot the noise issues I'm getting (buzzing and hissing). I've tried this pedal through clean power and with brand new cables, with single coil and humbucking pickups. It buzzes and hisses intermittently through my 5:25 Mesa Boogie and also through an Analog Outfitter Sarge that I use at our Church. Additionally, the lead from my power brick seems to pick up a lot of noise. If you touch or move it the slightest bit, it makes a ruckus. Add dirt and it's worse. Add fuzz—no way! Other pedals inserted into this position have no issues...Way over-priced—very cheap build compared to other boutique pedals on the market. It's my least favorite pedal and I love good tremolo.
