Abundant Bass Extension for Small Spaces
The Dynaudio Core Sub Compact takes the company's thunderous, 4-driver Core Sub and chops it in half, providing you with a dual-driver sub tailor-made for cramped spaces. This powered studio subwoofer houses twin Class D Pascal amplifiers, pumping premium, bi-amplified low end through a pair of 9-inch, magnesium-silicate polymer woofers. The Core Sub Compact digs deep — all the way down to 16Hz — ensuring a full-impact sound that you can trust. And thanks to its dual-action damping system, this subwoofer doesn't generate unwanted ringing overtones. The Core Sub Compact employs the same DSP engine as the rest of Dynaudio's Core series, which enables you to fine-tune this sub to accommodate a wide range of applications, speaker positions, and listening environments. Moreover, the Core Sub Compact includes a useful assemblage of analog and digital audio inputs, along with ample control over your gain staging. Engineers seeking top-shelf performance in a pint-sized package will find themselves completely spellbound by the Dynaudio Core Sub Compact.

Vibration-free operation
The Core Sub Compact's MSP+ Hybrid Drive units work in an opposed configuration to safeguard against unwanted vibrations. Each of this subwoofer's drivers brandishes a rigid aluminum core, which is sandwiched between a layer of paper damping on the rear and Dynaudio's proprietary magnesium-silicate polymer material in a cap on the front to eliminate vibration-induced ringing. The engineers here at Sweetwater are blown away by the Core Sub Compact; it offers uncompromising performance with zero unwanted ringing artifacts.

Sophisticated DSP
No matter where you place the Dynaudio Core Sub Compact, its built-in DSP filters will ensure the best sound possible. For most applications, the Free setting will deliver the best results; however, you also get a Soffit setting for in-wall installations. Furthermore, this studio subwoofer includes Free, Wall, and Corner modes to compensate for where you place it in relation to nearby boundaries. You also get a low-frequency 80Hz Linkwitz-Riley cutoff for use with Core-series studio monitors.
