Tap into 50 Years of Audio Innovation
Since 1971, Eventide has been on the cutting edge of audio innovation. Case in point: Eventide created the very first studio effects processor, among other notable studio and broadcasting equipment. To celebrate the company’s fifth decade, Eventide has released the Clockworks Bundle, a collection of plug-ins that includes emulations of classic effects units tracing back to the company's earliest days when they were known as Eventide Clockworks. With the Clockworks Bundle, you get six of their most celebrated effects for your studio: Instant Phaser Mk II, Omnipressor, H910, Instant Flanger Mk II, H949, and SP2016. While Eventide continues to push performance boundaries, their classic effects units fetch extortionate prices on the used market. With the Clockworks Bundle from Sweetwater, you'll get Eventide's celebrated effects — for much less!

Instant Phaser Mk II
When it was released in the early 1970s, the original Instant Phaser was the first rackmountable studio effects unit in existence. You’ve heard its unmistakable swirling sound on Led Zeppelin’s “Kashmir” and countless other recordings. At the dawn of rack-based effects units, the Eventide Instant Phaser put phasing capabilities in the rack. And now, you can enhance your recordings — within the convenience of your DAW — with the Eventide Instant Phaser Mk II plug-in.
Instant Phaser Mk II Features:
- 4 methods for controlling phasing: Manual, Oscillator, Envelope, and Remote
- New/Old Age knob lets you dial in component drift and electrical leakage
- Mode switch offers 3 different flavors of phasing: Shallow, Deep, and Wide
- Utilize one of 4 distinct methods to control phasing
- Depth lets you combine the phased signal with the dry signal

Omnipressor
Omnipressor is a spot-on re-creation of the original Omnipressor Dynamics Processor. The software incarnation of Eventide’s classic ‘70-era studio rack unit, Omnipressor serves up a palette of ways to shape sound dynamics — including the option to twist it beyond all recognition. With Omnipressor, you can completely brutalize your signal if you want. Of course, we’re confident you’ll use good judgment.
Omnipressor Features:
- Characterful dynamics processing for your processing toolkit
- Variable control of attack, release, gain, and attenuation
- Gating, expansion, compression, limiting, and Dynamic Reversal
- Intuitive Function dial makes Omnipressor simple to operate
- Streamlined interface makes operation easy
H910
The original Eventide Clockworks H910 Harmonizer melted the minds of studio engineers. Back in the day — 1975, to be exact — there was no other piece of outboard gear that sounded like it. The software version of the H910 retains the same juicy girth and grit that the legends loved. Tweak the knobs just right, and you can get effects ranging from glitchy mechanical effects to self-oscillation. The H910 plug-in includes both mono and stereo versions of this legendary effects unit.
H910 Features:
- Faithfully reproduces the original unit’s signature girth and grit
- Execute and control pitch changes via MIDI or Anti-feedback control
- Anti-feedback modulates pitch around unity for subtle-to-outrageous effects
- Original hardware glitching creates delightfully unpredictable results
- Delay melodies and rhythms for everything from slap echo to total feedback pandemonium

Instant Flanger Mk II
From Led Zeppelin’s Physical Graffiti LP to David Bowie’s “Ashes to Ashes” and Cyndi Lauper’s “Time After Time,” Eventide’s Instant Flanger has graced countless classic recordings. Originally released in 1975 as a rackmount unit, the Instant Flanger is a versatile tool that’s capable of stereo sweetening, subtle modulations, double tracking, and extreme flanging with equal aplomb. Thanks to the Eventide Instant Flanger Mk II plug-in, this studio mainstay can now be a part of your effects arsenal.
Instant Flanger Mk II Features:
- Mimics the flanging effects produced by an analog tape machine
- Depth and manual controls let you adjust wet/dry blend and comb filtering
- Side Chain function lets you trigger the envelope follower from a separate source in the mix
- Low Cut control cuts unneeded low end
- Bounce replicates the sound of an analog tape machine’s capstan motor
H949
After the wild success of the H910, the designers at Eventide Clockworks turned their attention to perfecting the harmonizer. In 1977, the H949 emerged as the company’s newest flagship processor. The design featured micro pitch shifting along with reverse delay and random pitch functions. According to Eventide, the original unit carried the world’s first “intelligent” de-glitching algorithm. With the H949 plug-in, you’ll have the perfect harmonizer for lead guitar, vocals, and much more.
H949 Features:
- Multi-effects harmonizer for every occasion
- De-glitching algorithm keeps your signal intact
- Micropitch is ideal for “doubling” tracks or widening a section
- Reverse delay and random pitch open up creative pathways
- Includes H949 Dual for stereo operation

SP2016
By the time the SP2016 came to market in 1981, Eventide had dropped “Clockworks” from its name. Although it wasn’t technically a Clockworks effects unit, it ushered in the modern era of Eventide effects. This reverb plug-in has six reverb algorithms with exacting controls and EQs. The SP2016 Reverb plug-in includes both modern and vintage versions of the classic algorithms that make it useful in almost any application. You also get artist presets!
SP2016 Features:
- Captures the magic of the original hardware unit in your DAW
- Packed with 6 distinct reverbs: 3 vintage and 3 modern
- Parameters sliders make fine-tuning your reverb a breeze
- EQ section gives you complete control over your reverb’s frequency content
- Artist presets from Dave Pensado, Richard Devine, Joe Chiccarelli, Sasha, George Massenburg, The Butcher Bros., Buda and Grandz, and more
