Tidy Up Your Cables with C.A.S.T.
Building a studio setup can be a challenge — Cables, breakout boxes, cables, amplifiers, more cables — it gets complicated rather quickly. Thankfully, Cranborne Audio’s C.A.S.T. Intro Bundle does all the heavy lifting for you, and most importantly, significantly streamlines the typical tangle of XLR cables into a neat, Cat 5-over-audio setup. The C.A.S.T. system sends four channels of audio over a single Cat 5e, Cat 6, or Cat 7 cable, and it even allows for bi-directional audio to send and receive on the same cable! This bundle gives you everything you need to get started: an N8 C.A.S.T. distribution hub, N22H headphone amplifier/Cat 5 Snake/C.A.S.T. breakout box, N22 Cat 5 Snake/C.A.S.T. breakout box, and two custom 32-foot cables will have you well on your way to building a full C.A.S.T. system!

N8 C.A.S.T. distribution hub
The completely passive N8’s eight analog DB25 in and outs, combined with the A, B, C, and D RJ45 ports are purpose-built to transform your studio into a streamlined, Cat 5 powered setup. This hub will be the core of your C.A.S.T. system, with high-quality, fully balanced audio and phantom power compatibility to work with all of your favorite condenser mics and DI boxes.
N22H Headphone Amplifier and N22 breakout box
This bundle includes the N22H, a reference-grade headphone amplifier that delivers an ultra-flat frequency response with incredibly low distortion for a beautifully clear sonic representation of your sound. What’s more, the N22H is also C.A.S.T. enabled, allowing you to use it as both a breakout box and a Cat 5 snake. While most of the items in this bundle are passive, the N22H comes with its own dedicated power supply. If you need even more connection capability, the N22 is also included as a standalone passive C.A.S.T. breakout box and Cat 5 snake.
C.A.S.T. away
Cranborne Audio’s innovative C.A.S.T. system does away with excess cable tangling found in most traditional studio setups. It delivers a cost-effective, low-maintenance, plug-and-play solution by transmitting four channels of balanced analog audio over shielded Cat 5 Ethernet cable directly to the destination of your choice. Best of all, since many homes already have Cat 5 routed, the N8 is an excellent choice for serious home-studio setups. Try out the Cranborne Audio C.A.S.T.
