The staff turned me on to this for my KAT Percussion KTMP1 Multipad Drum and Percussion Pad and I am so glad they did. Gets much taller than a high hat stand allowing me to stand and drum. Super solid and the feet have bumpers to reduce noise. Very well made. The top tilts and locks at any angle allowing me to have the bad at a slight angle to me which helps a lot.

I know this is meant for use with a drum module, but I use it to hold a snare drum above my bass-mounted toms. The adjustable clamp allows me to use a strainer and raise it to a height that NO snare stand comes close to. Because a snare is heavy, I need a counterweight...

I purchased the DDrum electronic pad and needed a stable stand. This worked great. The best part, though, was the customer service from Sweetwater. They called me to let me know it was on its way, and then again after I received it to make sure it worked for my needs. What?? Who does that! Thanks, again, guys!
