This version of the Manley Pultec EQP-1A offers both transformer coupled balanced and direct capacitor coupled unbalanced outputs for easy interface and sonic variety. Available in both single and 2-channel versions, the EQP-1A uses an ALL-TUBE single-ended line amplifier for the gain make-up and extra-beefy sound. Enjoy incredible control with frequency Boost and Cut controls in the LF shelf circuit, bandwidth control that allows for precise dialing of boost, and more. For midband oriented instruments such as guitars, vocals, harmonicas, and violins, the mid-frequency version shares the same features and specifications as the "EQP-1A" version. The differences lie in the passive EQ section: the DIP and PEAK controls function on much sharper curves of boost and cut centered on the selected frequencies, so you get more precise control over the vitally important midrange.
