Universal Audio rolled out their Apollo Duo, announced as as the world’s first Thunderbolt-ready audio interface. Apollo Duo boasts built-in UAD-2 Duo DSP to let you track, mix, and master with acclaimed UAD-2 powered plug-ins, and is said to exhibit near-zero latency. With Thunderbolt connectivity coming soon, the Apollo Duo offers larger bandwidth and faster transfer rates than USB or Firewire. Also coming is the Apollo Quad, with four DSP chips for true power freaks.
