Yamaha’s new Electronic Drum Department has announced the DTX-MULTI 12 percussion module. It gives you twelve total trigger zones (six pad and six rims) in an innovative two-tiered layout that makes hitting the correct pad easy. The DTX-MULTI 12’s velocity sensitive trigger zones are designed to let you play with sticks, open hands, or fingers. Each zone supports up to four velocity switched or layered samples, and 64MB gives you plenty of audio storage, while USB allows you to interface the DTX-MULTI 12 with your computer.
Yamaha DTX-MULTI 12 Electronic Percussion Module Features:
- Technology from the Motif XS synthesizer and the DTXTREME III drum trigger module
- Five trigger inputs, plus hi-hat and foot pedal jacks for expansion
- Four sounds can be velocity switched or layered onto each pad
- 1,249 drum, percussion, and effects sounds, including 100 MB of WAV ROM
- Built-in sequencer, preset loops, pro-quality effects and a five-band EQ
