Appearing as early as Summer NAMM, and turning heads at AES, Waves released their revolutionary new MultiRack platform in late 2009. We got to see MultiRack in action here at the Sweetwater Performance Theater where it made a big impression. The idea is that in an ultra-stable software environment specifically designed as a host for Waves plug-ins (no Waveshell), these powerful processors can run live without incurring significant enough latency to be noticed. The result is that, with an average modern laptop and a multichannel interface, you can easily eliminate the need for racks and racks of analog outboard gear.
Waves MultiRack Live Plug-in Processor Host Environment Features:
- Fully stable, ultra-low-latency host environment for inexpensive Waves plug-ins
- Complete recall – makes setup a snap!
- Simple routing: no cabling, no rack mounting, no trucking
- Set and save presets and snapshots per song and song sections
- Windows & OS X Compatible
