D’Addario’s popular EXP coated string line is expanded to include EXP electric guitar strings! These strings are designed to sound identical to D’Addario’s XL strings, but are coated to last much longer than the traditional variety. By using a 50% thinner coating on the wrap wires, the EXP Electric strings deliver longer life and a natural tone – importantly, they maintain the feel of uncoated strings. The strings are set to be available this month – January, 2010.
