Winter NAMM 2010: Ableton The Bridge

Ableton, in partnership with Serato, announced “The Bridge,” which effectively bridges the gap between Ableton Live sets and Serato Scratch Live or ITCH software. With it, DJs will be able to play their Live sets directly from Serato software. Likewise, DJs can mix in Scratch or ITCH, then save them as a Live set. The Bridge will be free to registered owners of Serato Live/ITCH hardware and Ableton Live 8 or Ableton Live Intro.

Ableton The Bridge Serato/Live Bridge Software Features:

  • Bridges the gap between Ableton Live and Serato Scratch/ITCH software
  • Can play Live sets directly from Serato
  • Can mix in Scratch or ITCH and save them as Live sets
  • Free to registered owners of Serato Live/ITCH hardware and Live 8 or Intro
  • Release expected in the second quarter of 2010
