The BR-900CD takes some big steps beyond its predecessor BR-864 by increasing the front-panel fader count from four to eight, adding a built-in CD-RW drive, and pitch correction. It also adds CompactFlash card storage with up to 1GB capacity, which provides up to 624 minutes of record time in standard mode. Even with all of these great new features, the unit’s footprint remains small for ease of travel.
