Ned Steinberger, the inventor of headless guitars and basses, will once again be directly involved in the design, development and marketing of Steinberger-brand instruments, thanks to a new 5-year consulting agreement with Gibson. Gibson purchased the Steinberger company in 1986, and Steinberger’s return will provide a strong foundation for the long-term future of the Steinberger line as well as to ensure that future designs carry on the same unique and innovative Steinberger characteristics as in the past.
