Video Card

A.K.A. video adapter, graphics accelerator card, display adapter, graphics card. A video card is a computer expansion card that handles outputting graphic images to a monitor or display. Unless a computer’s motherboard includes integrated video support, it will likely require a video card.

A video card will include a Graphics Processing Unit (GPU), video RAM, and other items, such as a heat sink or fan for cooling.
