Peak Pro playlists are powerful tools for non-destructive editing. Regions created in specific parts of an audio document may be compliled together in any order within a playlist. Thus you are able to rearrange material without ever modifying the original audio document. Playlists are typically used for compiling various songs together in the CD mastering process, but they may also be used to sequence smaller regions to create a custom remix, soundtrack, podcast, and so forth. Moreover, Peak Pro allows users to set custom gaps between playlist events, adjust gain on each playlist event, set volume automation (a truly cool feature), apply crossfades between playlist items, and apply effects plug-ins independently to each playlist event!
