Useful Pro Tools Command

There are so many times where it is useful to be able to pull audio or even complete tracks from a previous Pro Tools session into your current session. Using the “Import Session Data” function, which can be found under the Edit menu, you an easily import everything from a complete track to tempo and meter maps, key signature and chord maps, markers and window locations, window configurations, even PRE settings.

This can be incredibly handy in the studio for creating templates, for working on multiple sessions related to the same project, for creating a file with commonly used plug-in chains and settings, for creating a master session containing multiple songs placed along the timeline…the possibilities are numerous!
