Ableton has released version 8.2 of Live. The new version introduces Amp, Cabinet, and The Bridge. Amp is an audio effect, co-developed by Ableton and Softube, that emulates the sound of legendary electric guitar amplifiers and cabinets. Cabinet is the companion effect that delivers classic guitar speaker cabinets with optimized microphones and mic positioning. The Bridge was co-developed by Ableton and Serato, with the intent of bridging the gap between music production and DJing. Among other features, The Bridge allows Serato Scratch Live to control Ableton Live, Mixtape allows whatever you play in Serato Scratch Live to be saved as a Live Set in Ableton Live.
