This would be one of the critical elements that would define the iconic character of Sound City Studios recordings, the other being the indelible acoustics of the space, with the likes of Dave Grohl, Toto’s Jeff Porcaro, and engineer Rick Rubin being just a few of the many world-class musicians to laud the studio complex for its unmatchable recordings, especially with drums.
