The big news at Moogfest is the return of the Minimoog Model D, a limited-edition reissue of the original Minimoog Model D that was produced from 1970 to 1981. (Models A through Model C were prototypes.) What can you expect from the Minimoog Model D? The instrument has been painstaking recreated with the vintage design of the original, utilizing the best components possible, plus you’ll get player-approved modern enhancements,such as an updated power supply, a premium keybed, MIDI support, control voltage output, a dedicated LFO…this will be the ultimate Minimoog! Moog began manufacturing the reissued Minimoog Model D in a “pop-up” factory at Moogfest, and units will start shipping soon.
