Spectrasonics has released Keyscape Collector Keyboards, a virtual instrument plug-in offering more than 500 vintage keyboard sounds. The plug-in runs on Mac or Windows PC, under AAX, VST, and Audio Units formats. Powered by Spectrasonics’ proprietary STEAM engine, Keyscape can be used as a stand-alone virtual instrument or as a satellite instrument for Omnisphere 2.

The sounds feature deep-sampled 32-way velocity switching, round-robin sample playback, and mechanical, pedal, and release noise for maximum realism. Circuit-modeled amplifiers and effects are also included to complete the playing experience. For more efficient onstage use, a 30GB “lite” install is included along with the full install.
