FXpansion recently announced DCAM: Synth Squad – and now this new advanced software instrument suite has arrived at Sweetwater and is ready to rock a Mac or PC near you! Even better yet, the price has already dropped by $50! There are four members in the Synth Squad:
Strobe — an easy to program synth that’s designed along the lines of a polyphonic analog monosynth. (Yes, a polyphonic monosynth.) You can stack oscillators, there’s a multimode filter, tons of modulation. Lots of “analog” goodness for leads, basses, and pads.
Amber — a realistically modeled string ensemble, like the hardware units from the ’70s! lush tones with formant filter, three chorus models, flexible modulation, and more!
Cypher — a multi-oscillator “analog” FM synth with dual waveshapers and filters, along with many other modern synthesis features.
Fusor — a semi-modular layering environment for the Synth Squad synths with extra LFOs, envelope followers, step sequencers, and high-quality effects processors. Deep modulation capabilities let you take the DCAM sounds to an entirely new level!
