The heat is on in Nashville, and that means that Summer NAMM has arrived! Summer NAMM is the mid-year trade show and convention put on by NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants), where manufacturers gather to display their new and upcoming products to retailers and the press. Plus, Summer NAMM features a Music Industry Day on Saturday, July 13 from 10am to 4pm — a “public” day where musicians, engineers, producers, DJs, and anyone else interested in musical instruments and music technology can come and experience the show.
Of course, Sweetwater is at the show, covering the floor, scouring the booths for new products, and checking out all the latest toys. The 2013 Summer NAMM show is the biggest in recent years and is located in the all-new Nashville Music City Center convention center, so the excitement is definitely at a peak!
