Summer NAMM 2003

The sights, sounds and sensations of miles of aisles featuring the latest and greatest music-making gear all packed into one hot and humid city – WELCOME TO SUMMER NAMM ’03! Hosted in Nashville, Summer NAMM is always one of the year’s best treats with exciting exhibits, sizzling demos and an overall energy that can only be experienced to be appreciated. If knobs and sliders make you smile, walls and walls of guitars and basses make your heart jump, and rubbing shoulders with thousands of other gear-inspired musicians puts a little salsa in your glide, then Summer NAMM is the ONLY place to be July 18th, 19th and 20th!

In keeping with years of tradition, Sweetwater is proud to offer this EXCLUSIVE online report of this summer’s most exciting music trade show. So, what new piece of music technology will we uncover at this year’s Summer NAMM? Which booth had the greatest demos? Who did we see and, more importantly, what did we see that we think musicians all over the planet will drool over? New synths? Louder amps? Did we see more “modeling” and digital technology, or is this the year that analog makes a comeback? There’s bound to be something for everyone in this year’s report, but as always Summer NAMM ’03 featured a TON of new and exciting guitars from all the finest manufacturers. We’re sure that what you’ll find in the following report will amaze and inspire you. Enjoy!

As thorough as we try to be with our NAMM Report, we want to point out that this is by no means a complete guide of ALL things shown at the 2003 Summer NAMM show. While we do our best to report on the newest and coolest gear that catches our eye, there’s simply too much going on to report it all. As always, the key phrase here is “Subject to Change.” In many cases, manufacturers are still solidifying things like price, availability, and features on all new gear. We’ll update this information through our web store and publications the minute it becomes final. As always, remember to contact your Sweetwater Sales Engineer at 1-800-222-4700 for more information.
