The Cakewalk SONAR 6.0.1 Patch is now available for download. The patch includes several performance and stability enhancements, and updates both 32-bit and x64 versions of SONAR 6. Please note: You must have a registered copy of SONAR 6 Producer Edition or SONAR 6 Studio Edition installed in order to access this free download. If you have not registered your software you can register online right now, then grab your update. Enhancements and fixes include:
- MIDI Controller/Control Surface plug-ins can now filter only the assigned MIDI messages instead of entire MIDI channels. This allows a MIDI controller that only uses a single MIDI port to be used as a controller and ACT surface at the same time.
- Improved multi-processing performance at high latency when many AudioSnap events are present in tracks.
- A crash that could occur after slip-stretching audio clips multiple times has been fixed.
- AudioSnap “Quantize to Pool” didn’t always obey the selection, and unselected tracks could sometimes be quantized. This has been fixed.
- MIDI Note Durations weren’t maintained properly after using the “Set Measure/Beat at Now” command and this has now been corrected.
- Control Surface Data could echo and be recorded to MIDI tracks when manipulating ACT controls. The ACT MIDI Controller, Edirol PCR-M30, and Cakewalk Generic Surface plug-ins now properly filter these messages.
