Software Update: Digital Performer 4.51 Now Available!
Mark of the Unicorn (MOTU) has posted an update to Digital Performer. This maintenance update, which is now available as a free download for registered DP 4.5 users, offers numerous feature and performance enhancements including Dynamic CPU Management, Save Bounce Settings, Multi Bounce and a whole lot more. Dynamic CPU Management means your system will have more processing power available for additional tracks and plug-ins. With this new feature, supported plug-ins automatically disable their processing when they would otherwise be idle – therefore, a plug-in imposes no demands on your computer until it receives an audio signal from the track on which it’s instantiated.
