Slate Media Technology has released new firmware for their Raven series of multi-touch mixing workstations. The big news is Cubase and Nuendo support for Windows 10, but this update is filled with great new features!
Raven version 3.3 firmware includes the following:
- Cubase and Nuendo support for Windows 10.
- Cubase 9 support for Windows and macOS
- Full macOS 10.12 Sierra support
- Custom Gestures profiles for all RAVEN DAWs
- Logic Pro X 10.3 RAVEN internal mixer support — Touch Driver precision updated and improved
- Triple-screen support for the RAVEN Z3 now in beta testing
- New “Mixer Lock” feature for Pro Tools
- VControl Pro update for macOS and Windows
- RAVEN internal/external mixer icons now save with the default session and load after restarting
- RAVEN faders now synchronize when Opening Cubase and Nuendo projects with fewer than 24 tracks on first launch of the RAVEN
- Banking Buttons status of “1 or 24 Tracks” save within the user RAVEN Layout file (.ravlay). Users will need to adjust these to their preferences across their custom layouts.
- MTi2 users can now use keyboard modifiers in conjunction with touch
- MTi2 Dual RAVEN support for OS X El Capitan 10.11.5 and OS X Sierra 10.12.4
- MTi2 Pro Tools surround panner now responds accurately to touch
The new firmware is free to all registered users.
