The new Shure Beta 27 is a side-address condenser microphone that was introduced at the recent Musikmesse tradeshow in Frankfurt, Germany. The Beta 27 offers a supercardioid polar pattern for excellent isolation of a sound source in the studio or on the stage. It is intended for instrument applications such as drums, electric guitar cabinets, and bass cabinets.
