Seems like lots of companies have come up with contests. This one, which is sponsored by Notion Music, has some pretty impressive prizes. The Grand Prize Winner gets to have his or her composition recorded by the prestigious London Symphony Orchestra in the famed Abby Road Studios. They also get airfare and accommodations in London for the duration of the sessions plus $2,500 in walk-around money. Ah, but you want to know how you win this cool contest, right? Well, first off you must own a copy of Notion (your Sweetwater Sales Engineer can take care of that for you). Next, write an original 5- to 10-minute composition for a symphony orchestra, using Notion so that it’s performance-ready. Finally, submit your Notion file before midnight on May 31, 2008.
