Roland has been so successful with the DS-90 powered monitors they have now released the smaller DS-50A. Like their larger counterparts they are biamped with adjustable low and high frequency controls. They also have the S/PDIF digital inputs, which makes them an ideal companion to any of the VS series workstations. We’ve received a handful, but expect a huge shipment within the next few days so make sure you have your orders in.

For those of you who haven’t already heard, Mackie has posted the long awaited version 3.0 update for the D8B mixer at their website. This new version includes support for third party plug-ins, a bunch of new surround sound features, enhanced networking, and a ton of those cool little things customers have been requesting.
