Excellent thrown
I was shopping for the Roland V-drums to add as a practice set for the house & when i saw the "Free thrown included" it was a no brainer! The seat is big, stable ,solid & soft then being hydraulic makes it the perfect fit for drums & keyboards or any other uses . The saddle is deep and comfortable. As far as thrown's go this is one of the top choices IMO!

This throne isn't particularly inexpensive, but the comfort level is over 9000. It has a soft velvety top that grips your hiney so you won't slide off and miss a beat. It's also a pleasure to sit on because the cushion is perfect. Not so soft that you bottom out, and not too hard that make you wanna get up and leave the area as soon as possible like some porcelain thrones out there. Overall I'm satisfied with my throne, and recommend to any drummer who likes to be comfortable as they play.
Look No Further!
Purchased this a while ago-so here's the bottom line. This is the best throne ever! Easy to adjust, easy on your butt, easy set-up. It's extremely comfortable and like all Roland products, this critter is built-to-last and takes a beating. The hydraulics stay set and do not slip, and the friction-free seat swivels around without hesitation. More than enough padding and the velour cover with contour wedge keeps you in place. Much better than the old-style disc-seat. You won't regret this one. PS: The cats love it!
Drum throne
This throne is awesome. Swivels easily, large, gripping seat (I used to slide off my old small seat), and it moves up and down with no effort. This fits my needs and I am happy!!
Very Comfortable
Purchased this throne a couple weeks ago, and have been using it almost daily for at least 1 hour each time. I haven't played the drums in a few years, so I am easing in to the duration of my playing time - to ensure my muscles adjust accordingly. Prior to this - I used a Pork Pie Round Throne, and I was very satisfied.
Well, this Roland throne is a bit better - for two main reasons.
1. The "saddle" type seat is an improvement from using a standard round seat. (Foam is a great balance of cushion and support.
2. Hydraulic adjustment is a must have, in my opinion. The ease of adjusting your seat height with a single lever is great.
I definitely recommend this Throne. It is comfortable & easy to use. The quality appears/feels top notch.
