Digidesign has announced a new Pro Tools Mix Cubed system. The Mix3 is the same as a Mix Plus system with the addition of one more Mix Farm card. This change was no doubt brought on by the new Mac models that sport a total of four PCI slots. There is a significant price savings to buying a Pro Tools rig this way so if you know you need a three card system this is what you want.
