Just in case you don’t read inSync every day (and if you don’t, there will be a nice fellow who will be stopping by soon to ask why not), we wanted to remind you that Digidesign has announced the availability of a pre-release version of Pro Tools that provides Mac OS X 10.5.3 Leopard compatibility. This is provided as a convenience for Pro Tools users who wish to begin transitioning to Leopard before a fully tested and qualified version of Pro Tools is released. v7.4.2pr is a free download for the following Pro Tools users, and please note that you will need your Pro Tools 7.4 authorization code (Pro Tools LE) or iLok authorization (Pro Tools|HD or Pro Tools M-Powered) to authorize the Pro Tools pre-release software:
- Registered Pro Tools LE 7.4 users
- Registered Pro Tools M-Powered 7.4 users
- Registered Pro Tools HD 7.4 users (Pro Tools HD 7.4.2pr includes new support for Avid Mojo and older Apple Mac Pro computers)
