The PreSonus StudioLive 24.4.2 and StudioLive 16.4.2 digital mixers offer affordable audio analysis and correction via Smaart Measurement Technology, which is super handy for optimizing your system for ideal sound quality in any room. The problem is that you need a reference or “measurement” microphone to accurately pick up the room’s sound characteristics for analysis. And measurement mics aren’t cheap!
But now, PreSonus is offering the ideal companion for your StudioLive mixer’s Smaart analysis: the PRM1 reference microphone. The PRM1 features a 1/4-inch electret–condenser capsule and delivers linear frequency response between 20Hz and 20kHz. It has an omnidirectional polar pattern. Sensitivity is rated at -37 dB/Pa, EIN (A-weighted) at 26dB, S/N ratio at 70dB, dynamic range at 106dB, and maximum SPL at 132 dB SPL.
The mic has an all-metal chassis and comes with a clip, foam windscreen, and hard case.
