Poly WAV File

Also known as “Poly WAV,” Poly.Wav,” “.WAV Poly,” and other names. A file format often used in location recording and post-production work. Poly WAV files are multi-channel BWF files that contain extra metadata identifying the channels, etc. Many multi-channel portable recorders, such as Nagras and others, generate poly WAV files. Several DAWs and audio programs are able to import Poly WAV files directly or to split them up into their component mono WAV files.
