Q: My Pigtronix Philosopher’s Twin came with an 18-volt power supply. But I want to put it on my pedalboard where everything is powered by a 1-spot power supply that provides 9-volt power. Will it work okay?

A: Yes, the Philosopher’s Twin will operate just fine on nine volts of power. However, using an 18-volt power supply such as the one provided with the unit will ensure maximum headroom and output levels.
