Actually the G4 laptops do have numeric keypads. If you hold the function key (labeled “fn” , bottom left most key on the keyboard) then the right half of the keyboard becomes a numeric keypad. The numeric keypad keys are a light beige color on the keyboard.
If this solution does not suit your needs you could also plug in a separate USB keyboard. In fact, we sell a very cool USB keyboard that comes with all of the Pro Tools key commands on the keys. It’s really handy, but it’s designed for big Pro Tools systems – not all of the commands on it are available in your LE version of Pro Tools.
