Over the last few months, thousands of you have gone online to have a look at our new 150,000-square-foot headquarters, which is just minutes down the road from our existing facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana (which we expanded four times before literally running out of room). When completed, this new building will include three times the retail space compared to our current store. Our recording studio will also be getting a complete make-over courtesy of renowned studio designer Russ Berger, who will also be designing a cutting-edge training auditorium with the kind of acoustics normally found only in some of the world’s premier concert halls. But the thing that’s most impressive is the fact that Sweetwater Founder and CEO Chuck Surack decided the entire facility had to be LEED-certified as a “green,” environmentally friendly building. This means that unlike other large-scale projects, our new headquarters is being built to have minimal impact on the land as well as the flora and fauna found there. So if you haven’t yet done so, go here and take the 3-D virtual tour or look at the photo gallery which is updated regularly.
