MOTU Digital Performer 8

MOTU shocked everyone at the NAMM show by announcing Digital Performer 8 — not that a new version of DP is a shock, but there is one aspect that is huge: after decades as a Mac-only program, Digital Performer now supports Windows! Windows support includes Windows 7, VST plug-ins, and ReWire. Version 8 also offers a number of other big items, such as 15 new bundled plug-ins, 14 new themes, Punch Guard to prevent against lost moments of inspiration when recording, a new video playback engine and much more!

MOTU also showed iPad support for CueMix FX, allowing control over mixing and processing for MOTU audio interface users from an iPad.
